King Scorpions are aggressive monsters found in the Dwarven Mine, the Lava Maze in the Wilderness, and some areas on Crandor. They have a max hit of 4 and drop nothing. They are aggressive if a player's combat level is under 65. The king scorpions patrol the iron, mithril and adamantite rocks in the area north of the Mining Guild door; and the coal and tin rocks west of the Falador house stairs. These monsters can kill you if you are Lower level.
However, they are a mere annoyance of you have a good defence level(30+).

[edit] Trivia
- King scorpions were larger than ordinary scorpions in Runescape Classic, but are now the same size with a different colour scheme. (this update happened to RS2 and at one time they were like that in RS2) However, even in RS2, the examine says:'Wow! Scorpions shouldn't grow that big!' Yet when you examine a normal scorpion (the same size) it says: 'An extremely vicious scorpion'.
