A (full) slayer helm while on a kalphites task helps together with the keris. The special effect is rare (even with completion of the Hard Desert Tasks) and the stats of the keris aren't that high. In addition, no kalphites, other than the Kalphite King, are weak to stab (or melee for that matter), making the keris not as useful as one may think. The only non-boss monsters with a melee weakness that the dagger's effect can trigger on are ranged-using scabarites, but those are weak to crush rather than stab. Despite that, the damage and accuracy boosts coupled with a powerful offhand places the Keris on par with the equivalent mainhand.
