|Release date||8 July 2009 (Update)|
|Location||Mobilising Armies Command centre|
|Examine||A good posture, it has to be said.|
When talking to Bertol, he tells the player that he has a top secret job of the uppermost importance. When using a Ring of Charos or wearing any H.A.M. robes, he reveals that he is an undercover H.A.M. member.
As a H.A.M. member, he claims that Mobilising Armies is filled with "disgusting creatures" like goblins, and he is on a mission to stop it all. While at Mobilising Armies, he has done such things as spreading rumours, sabotaging special units, and mixing up the orders so that commanders end up travelling to the wrong destinations.
The player has the option of threatening to report Bertol to an officer, but Bertol will say that an officer will never believe a stranger over a cadet.
- When the player asks him what his top secret job is, Bertol says, "I'd have to kill you if you found out." This is a reference to a famous quote from the movie Top Gun: "I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."
- Strangely, Bertol will say that an officer will never believe a stranger over a cadet no matter what rank you attain in the minigame, even War Chief, which is higher than his rank of Junior Cadet.
