Jungle horrors live on the island of Mos Le'Harmless, and use melee and magic attacks that inflict a maximum of 9 damage. They have a stronger relative inside the caves, called Cave horrors, which require a light source and Witchwood icon to fight.

[edit] Strategy
Jungle horrors can be ranged from the platform on the outskirt of the township, and bringing a long ranged weapon such as a longbow helps as they can be scattered around before switching to another weapon such as a crossbow or a shortbow. The various jungle plants can be ranged across, and the flowers and jungle trees can be used as safe spots as well.
Melee can also be effective, because of their low hitpoints, they can often killed in two or three hits, reducing the need for food. In some areas of the jungle, there are three or four Horrors in the same area, which can be quickly killed right after each other.
Although it is reported that jungle horrors use range attacks, they seem to use melee attacks most of the time. Thus, wearing good metal armour provides the best overall defence, much better than dragonhide armour, which protects against magic.
Players with high Defence do not need to pay much attention while fighting Jungle horrors. Since Jungle horrors are highly aggressive and can spot a player from quite a large distance, those players can simply stand in a spot with many Jungle horrors, with auto-retaliate on, and kill them without even doing anything. Occasionally, players should check their hitpoints and eat if necessary, which should not happen often as the horrors can easily be killed in two to three hits. Once the Jungle horrors become tolerant, players can leave the jungle and return to make them aggressive again.
[edit] Strengths and weaknesses
Jungle horrors have a fairly low number of Hitpoints for their combat level, and appear to be fairly weak to Ranged attacks. However they have a decent max hit for their level, which they hit fairly often.
