Jugs can be bought at general stores for one coin each. Jugs are not sold at the Catherby or West Ardougne general store. Fortunato's Wine Store in Draynor Village sells them for the same price as the general stores, and they can be thieved from the stall. Beefy Bill sells jugs of water, but you cannot use him to bank.
Jugs can also be found at their spawn points in the basement of Lumbridge Castle, the Crafting Guild, the Cooking Guild (top floor), and some other kitchens. The average spawn time is about 45 seconds.

Making money from jugsEdit
This method is relatively unknown to most players, and can be an easy way to make money at lower levels. If you buy a Jug of wine from the Grand Exchange, drink it and then sell the empty jug, you can make a profit of 171 gp per jug. Doing this with a full inventory of jugs of wine takes about 70 seconds and gains you a profit of 4788 gp per inventory, and make about 229824 gp per hour.
You can also buy jugs at the Varrock General Store for 1 coin each, and sell them at the Grand Exchange. This will yield a profit of (current Grand Exchange Prices may change) about 225 coins per jug.
