The Jolly Boar Inn is a two-story bar and inn located north-east of Varrock, and near the Wilderness. It contains a range, and a spawn point for thread. The bartender sells only ordinary beer for 2 coins each.
The bar contains Johnathon from the Family Crest quest. The bar was previously the location of Dr. Harlow, who is an important character in the Vampire Slayer quest. He was moved to the Blue Moon Inn because newer players had a hard time finding the bar, and would often wander into the Wilderness.
It is said that the name is probably a pun on "jolly boring". Indeed, players rarely come here, perhaps due to its geographical location.
The Bartender of the Jolly Boar Inn will say that the Bartender of the Blue Moon Inn is crazy because he thinks RuneScape is in a computer game.
The Jolly Boar Inn is the largest inn in Gielinor, just edging the Blue Moon Inn.
Before the Wilderness update, this was one of the main lurer base spots worldwide in RuneScape, many people died north of this tavern.
