Jangerberries are used in Herblore to make Zamorak potions. They can also be eaten and heal 2 hitpoints, temporarily raise your attack level by 2 and strength level by 1 and restore 1 Prayer point. They spawn on a small Ogre island west of Yanille. (This island requires that you take a rope each time you want to get onto it, and a Mith grapple will not work in place of a rope.) Jangerberries can also be grown using Jangerberry seeds with the Farming skill at level 48 Farming, a player can pay the farmer 6 watermelons to look after the bush. They can also be used to make supercompost.
When planted, you receive 50 Xp and 285 Xp for checking the bush's health. You get 19 Xp for harvesting each Jangerberry, that's 76 Xp for harvesting a fully grown Jangerberry Bush.
They are also used in the Watchtower quest and be randomly selected as an item needed for Fairytale I - Growing Pains.
