Iron equipment

Iron equipment is equipment that is stronger than bronze equipment. As with all things iron, they have a dull grey colour. Some on-the-go quick pkers will buy iron sets, because they're cheap, and they will not lose much if they die. They would probably also use protect from item for the weapon if skulling.

Iron weapons are stronger then bronze weapons but are weaker then steel weapons, so a player could achieve better results using steel weapons. There are no requirements to wield a iron weapon. While iron is slightly more expensive than bronze, many low-level players often use them as they are still fairly cheap and can be created with a fairly low smithing level.

Iron armour is the second-lowest quality armour on the standard metal armour spectrum (bronze to dragon). This is often the best armour a one defence Pure will wear during combat as it is stronger then bronze but still quite cheap and only needs level 1 defence to wear. A full set of Iron Armour would include full helmet, platebody, platelegs, and kiteshield, and costs about 455 coins.
In regards to iron items, Ava's attractor collects such items and places them into backpack inventory.
