The iron spear is a two handed melee weapon and is the second weakest type of spear. It is member's only and can only be used in combat. It can be bought from other players or received as a monster drop. Players who have started learning Barbarian smithing and have level 20 Smithing may produce a spear at a Barbarian anvil from one iron bar and one oak log, receiving 50 smithing experience. It can be poisoned.
