Iron sickles can be purchased from Gardener Gunnhild on the island of Miscellania for 15 coins each. They can be wielded as a weapon, however in the past they could be used to cut weeds and increase the player's favour in the kingdom. Gunnhild now sells rakes as well to make up for this change. Players must have completed the Fremennik Trials quest to get to the island of Miscellania.

[edit] Trivia

• Some months ago, an update made Gunnhild stop selling iron sickles. Players that would still have this in their bank were able to trade them. This generated a new discontinued item at which many people began trying to buy them for cheap, while others that had them were trying to sell for over a million coins. Jagex later posted on the forums that players were able to buy them again, as they did not want another rare to be generated.
