The Iron mace is stronger than the bronze mace. Players can make an iron mace with the smithing skill at level 17 using one iron bar, giving the player 25 smithing experience. Players can purchase this mace from Flynn's Mace Market in Falador. An iron mace also respawns on the first floor of a house in Ardougne which needs level 14 thieving to picklock the door, and in the guard's home in Edgeville, which respawns. It is rarely used in combat.
