An Iron dagger is a dagger that is stronger than a bronze dagger. Players can make an iron dagger with the smithing skill at level 15 using 1 iron bar, giving the player 25 smithing experience. Members can poison this weapon, giving them an advantage in combat. Players can purchase this dagger from the Varrock Swordshop. Like all daggers other than the dragon dagger, this item is rarely used. However, this is a popular choice among defence pures, especially with (super strong weapon poison) although it is recommended to purchase an iron sword instead because it has the same speed but slightly better stats.

An iron dagger respawns in the following areas:
- In the house near the Canoe Dock. or in other words the goblin inhabited house with the door east of the furnace in Lumbrige.
- On the top floor of the Rogue's castle in the members area of the Wilderness.
