An Irit seed is used in Farming skill to grow a Irit leaf. The required level to grow Irit leaf is 44 Farming; the seed must be planted in a herb patch to grow.

After about 80 minutes it should be ready to harvest giving about 5 grimy herbs (if supercompost was used before the plant or with Fertile soil spell) or more.

These are very good for low-risk money making, as each seed will yield much more money, yet if they should become diseased and die, the player is only out a small amount.
