Irit gloves are a reward that can be purchased with tokens from the Fist of Guthix minigame. After 100 Irit drops they will crumble to dust. They require 50 herblore to wear. As all herblore gloves, these gloves increase the chance of getting a grimy herb of the corresponding type to 50% per herb drop. If a monster drops a herb, you have a 50% chance of getting an irit as the drop.
These gloves can be useful if training herblore if using super attack potions for semi-quick levels. However you must also balance the fact that getting irits over ranarrs may be a loss in money the could be used for training. Only use these gloves if the monster you are killing has a high chance of lower herbs such as guam or tarromin. Also to help balance this out, if you have level 70 Herblore you may want to try Kwuarm gloves instead as Grimy kwuarm sell for three to four times the price of irits. With recent Herblore updates the price of irits and Kwuarms are only about 1,000 gp apart making these a good choice in gloves for someone under 70 herblore level. Kwuarm gloves however are still better for those of higher level.
