The Interface is the screen used to play RuneScape; it contains buttons to view specific information. Some parts of the interface can be quickly accessed by the use of the hotkeys noted below.

RuneScape toolbarEdit

The RuneScape toolbar is at the top of of the interface. Members have the options Home, Support, Forums and Clans. Non-members have the options Home, Support, Forums, and Subscribe.

MinimapEdit

The Minimap is the area of the game interface in the upper-right of the screen. It shows a bird's eye schematic of the player's surrounding area, with the player at the centre.

Chat and action barEdit

Chat is the main source of communication located at the lower left corner. It is the method of communicating and speaking with other players of the game and comes in a variety of methods to do so ranging from public chat to clan chat. Players can also talk to NPCs (using chatheads) and the chatbox is used for game messages.

The combat action bar is just above the chat box.
