An Initiate sallet is a piece of initiate armour that can be obtained from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Recruitment Drive quest. It has the exact equivalent defence bonuses as a mithril full helm, but also offers +3 Prayer bonus. It is white with bright gold trim.
This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, it cannot be obtained from any treasure trail.
The sallet, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.

- This helmet, along with the Proselyte Sallet, can be used to replace the white full helmet in a full white set, to imitate the level 38 white knights which have yellow plumes instead of red.
- One of the steel heraldic helmets can make an excellent imitation of the Initiate Sallet.
