An Initiate sallet is a piece of initiate armour that can be obtained from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador after completing the Recruitment Drive quest. The quest is required to equip the sallet, along with 25 Defence. It is white with bright gold trim.

This piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. Even though this armour is trimmed, it cannot be obtained from any treasure trail.

The sallet, if part of a full set of the armour, can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.

TriviaEdit

  • It should be noted that the base colour of the Temple Knight's armour (both Initiate and Proselyte) is NOT the same as White equipment - it has a darker, almost silvery shade, and will not exactly match if worn together.
  • In real life a sallet would be more like a hat-helmet; a better description of this would be an armet.
  • The sallet slightly looks like the Helm of Neitiznot, with the wings on top of the sallet.
