Initiate armour

Initiate armour can be obtained after completing the Recruitment Drive quest by buying it from Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador. The armour consists of three pieces of plate armour, white with gold trim in appearance. Players often add yellow capes, gloves, and boots from the Canifis clothing shop.
This set of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill. This armour has the same stats as Mithril armour counterparts, but with a prayer bonus. Because of its low cost and high prayer bonus, players often use this set while training on Monkey Guards, Black Demons and Aberrant Spectres as an alternative to Barrows equipment while using the Protect from Melee Prayer due to its extremely high prayer bonus and the fact that Barrows equipment degrades over time (and is expensive to repair).
This armour is also necessary for achieving a medium task in the Falador Diary.
A full set of the armour can be stored in the Armour case of a Player-owned house.
