The Illuminated Holy Book is obtainable after completing the quest One Piercing Note. It is created by going into one of the south-western rooms in the abbey and using Saradomin's holy book on the table in there. To create it, a player needs 60 Prayer and 60 Crafting. This has the same stats as Saradomin's Holy book but with +4 Prayer bonus. It is possible to own more than one of these at one time. Crafting an illuminated book does not destroy the god book it is copied from.

To make the book, place your copy of Saradomin's holy book on the Bookmaking table. Then click proceed through the 4 steps of the book making process. Each step uses 200 prayer points. If you don't have enough prayer points, run to the altar upstairs, then come back and complete the process. This also gives 10,000 Prayer xp and 10,000 Crafting xp the first time you make it.
