Icefiends are monsters that may be encountered on the frozen floors while training Dungeoneering. Unlike normal Icefiends, these attack with both magic and ranged, making them challenging foes if they are high-levelled. Their magic attack resembles a water blast. These monsters count towards an icefiend slayer task.

This is the only Slayer Monster available to free-to-play during Dungeoneering. Despite this, their Slayer drops are members only

• Despite being made of ice, icefiends seem resistant to fire spells. This holds true for nearly all ice creatures in Daemonheim, and a melee weapon, ideally a crush weapon, is recommended instead.
