An Ice warrior is a monster similar in appearance to a knight in blue, somewhat translucent armour. They live near ice and use fast slashing attacks that can hit up to 156 life points. Ice warriors are not aggressive to players with a combat level of 109 and above, unless attacked first by the player.
Mid-level food (such as lobsters, Swordfish, or monkfish) is recommended for players between the combat levels of 70 and 90, as any type of food above that will likely be a waste of money. Higher-levelled players will likely need little to no food.
The Slayer Master tips hint that crush attacks are particularly effective against these however this doesn't seem to be the case, it may be unchanged dialogue from pre-EoC.
Ice warriors can be safe spotted on White Wolf Mountain by standing next to the rock slide. Loot cannot be picked up without level 50 Mining.
- White Wolf Mountain (m). A few are north of the mountain as well as underneath in the caverns. (You need 50 mining to access this area)
- Frozen Waste Plateau in the far northwest of the Wilderness.
- Asgarnian Ice Dungeon, in the icy part of the section.
- Chaos Tunnels (m), usually with Ice giants.

There are ice warriors mixed with three ice giants in the dungeon just south of Port Sarim. There is also a room full of ice warriors guarding the Ice Queen under White Wolf Mountain (level 50 mining is required to enter), however it is a long walk through tunnels of ice spiders and ice giants. It may be a good idea to bring a summoning familiar or a dwarf multicannon. Attacking the Ice Queen will result in the player being attacked by all of the ice warriors in the area at once, although there are some safe spots from warriors while fighting her. On the surface, stand between the north and south ladder on the rough snow patch. Both warriors will come to you while aggressive.
- Ice warriors still use the walk, stand and death animations of old RuneScape.
- Ice warriors appear to have the old model of armour.
- While the ones in the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon have a male voice when they are hit and die, the ones near the Ice Queen have a female voice. It is unknown if this was intentional or not.
- Two ice warriors in the Asgarnian Ice Dungeon and the ones near the Ice Queen display used to be weak to water spells. This was changed in the patch notes on 16 January 2017.
