Ice Barrage requires a Magic level of 94 to cast and has a base damage of 786 water damage. The only difference between Ice Blitz and Ice Barrage is that the damage is dealt up to 9 targets within a 3x3 square. This spell can freeze your targets, immobilizing them for 10 seconds, or 5 seconds for players.

As with all Ancient Magicks spells, the quest Desert Treasure must be completed in order to cast this spell.

This spell is widely used in team minigames such as Castle Wars, Soul Wars, Fist of Guthix and Stealing Creation. Many people merely use the spell once to freeze someone, slowing them down or stopping them from reaching their target (the flag or avatar etc.). ^[obsolete]

Ice Barrage is commonly used in Player killing, as it is the second highest-hitting magical spell, and immobilises the target. Fire Surge can hit higher than Ice barrage, only when used on Glacors or Ice Strykewyrms during their slayer task.

Remember, you cannot use Lunar Spells or Standard spells if you are using Ancient Magicks.
