The Hunters' crossbow has a fairly quick firing rate, equivalent to a shortbow. It can fire Kebbit bolts (same power as Mithril arrows in power) and Long kebbit bolts (same power to Adamant arrows). It is bought from Leon, who is located in the hunting shop in Yanille. This crossbow has a better range bonus than a Steel crossbow.
Although the crossbow is somewhat inaccurate compared to a Magic shortbow or an Adamant crossbow, it is a popular weapon due to cheap, effective bolts and firing speed.
Prior to the game improvements of 18 June 2007 this crossbow had a better range bonus than that of the Rune crossbow.
Ranged level of 50 is required to use.
