The Hooded cloak is an item used in the Castle Wars minigame. Players are given their teams' cloak when they enter any of the three God portals: Zamorak, Saradomin and Guthix. Because of this cloak, players are NOT allowed to wear anything in the cape slot, or any headgear (helms, hats, etc).
This cloak is used to identify the team colours, and there are 2 colours:
- Red - Zamorak team; when players enter the red Zamorak portal
- Blue - Saradomin team; when players enter the blue Saradomin portal

- There is no team colour for Guthix, even when players enter the Guthix portal. This is because, as Guthix is the God of Balance, players will enter whichever team that has fewer players. If the red team (Zamorak) had one more than the blue team (Saradomin), then the player entering the Guthix portal would join Saradomin's team.
- Players cannot unwield this while in a game of Castle Wars or in the waiting room.
- When you enter the Guthix portal holding a Saradomin or Zamorak item you will be turned into a sheep.
- When you enter the Saradomin portal with a Zamorak or Guthix item you are turned into a rabbit.
- When you enter the Zamorak portal with a Saradomin or Guthix item you will be turned into an imp.
