The Hobgoblin Champion will challenge players with the Hobgoblin champion scroll as part of the Champion's Challenge mini-game. The scroll is randomly dropped by Hobgoblins. Players need 32 quest points to fight him, and they are not allowed to use melee attacks. The champion fights using a javelin (Beware, the Hobgoblin Champion lowers the players prayer level by 1 with every one of its attacks!). Ranged is recommended for this fight since being a ranged combatant he is pretty resistant to magical attacks.
