Hellcat

A Hellcat (spelled Hell cat when in a player's inventory) or a Hell-kitten is a cat that players can only obtain after starting the Evil Dave section of Recipe for Disaster.

To turn your cat into a Hellcat, head to the basement in the house of Evil Dave's Mother, Doris. Tell your kitten or cat to "Chase Vermin". After it has killed a sufficient amount of hellrats (about 7 for cat and 1 for kitten), your cat or kitten will become a Hellkitten or Hellcat. Clockwork cats cannot be turned into hell cats. It is possible to make an overgrown cat into a hellcat but it must first be made into a wily cat, after which it can become either a wily or lazy hellcat.

Hellkittens will still grow into Hellcats and Hellcats will still grow into Overgrown Hellcats. Hellcats can still be wily or lazy. To turn your Hellcat back into a regular cat, just feed it some milk. Alternatively, you can talk to Evil Dave's Mother with your cat out.

Wily cats, as well as lazy cats, can become wily hellcats and lazy hellcats by having the cat catch hellrats. It is also possible to have an overgrown hellcat made into a wily hellcat the same way that overgrown cats are made wily.
