The hay sack with a spear is an item used to create a scarecrow for use in Farming. To create the hay sack, use an empty sack on a non-searchable hay bale or use it on any haystack present. A bronze spear should then be used on the sack followed by a watermelon to make a scarecrow.
To fill the empty sack, various hay bales can be used:
- The chicken coop north of Port Sarim
- The "inner" Barbarian Outpost (Agility training course)
- You can also fill sacks from hay bales: north of Draynor Village, north-west of Lumbridge, and north of Ardougne.
