A hardened straight root is an item obtained by burning straight roots from the Jadinko Lair on any fire. Players can create sagaie shafts by using a knife on the hardened straight roots. 5 shafts are made per root. No Fletching experience is received for doing this, although experience is gained for then adding mutated vines to the shafts to create sagaie.
