A Half full wine jug was once obtained by drinking once from a jug of wine. Later, via update, it was changed so that a jug of wine was consumed in one drink. One half-full wine jug heals 7 Hitpoints when drunk.
Players who brought half-full wine jugs from RuneScape Classic soon found they became a discontinued item and would sell for a massive sum to other players. Soon they became a rarity, and prices began to skyrocket, although it was, and is now, still behind in prices compared to some rare items that can be worn. Other than boasting rights, this item has no specific value except its meager healing; only the rarity provides the object of its value. Half full wine jug is one of most wanted items in runescape.
Players are advised to not carry these items as an item, as they will turn into a worthless empty jug if accidentally drunk. Players would usually withdraw this item as a bank note in order to avoid accidentally drinking them.
