Guam tar is an item that has two uses in RuneScape. The first is for the Hunter skill when hunting swamp lizards, when it is used as bait in net traps. Players need level 29 Hunter, and gain 152 experience points for every one they catch^[1]. The second use for Guam tar is as the ammunition for the swamp lizard used as a weapon^[2].

Members can make Guam tar at level 19 Herblore, to gain 30 experience points. It is made by using 15 lumps of swamp tar on clean guam while possessing a pestle and mortar to make 15 lumps of Guam tar^[2].
