The Grotworm is a monster that attacks with both magic and melee. It only uses the magic attack if you are standing out of melee range. They have a fairly slow attack speed (around the same as Dharok's greataxe), but they can hit fairly accurately for their levels. The Grotworms are weak to crossbow bolts. It was released with the Song from the Depths quest. They can be found on the middle level of the Grotworm Lair, northeast of Rimmington. They almost always attack with magic first then continue with melee. If you run outside of their melee range they will mage you. Additionally, at combat level 100, Grotworms stop being aggressive. There is little currently known about Grotworms.
