Mature Greenman's Ale is a stat enhancing beer that temporarily enhances a player's Herblore level by 2, as opposed to the one-level Herblore boost provided by a regular Greenman's Ale. It is the stronger, or 'mature' version of a Greenman's Ale. This ale could be used to enable players to make potions that would require a higher level, for instance Prayer potions or Super restore potions.
Greenman's ale can be made using the brewing vats in eastern Keldagrim or Port Phasmatys.
During the brewing process, there is a small chance that any ale will turn out mature; leaving a normal ale in the vat after it has finished brewing will not make it turn mature. The chance of brewing a mature ale can be increased by adding the stuff to the brewing vat, just prior to adding the hops. Greenman's Ale can be brewed with 4 clean Harralander herbs, obtained from Farming or as a drop from monsters.
[edit] Effects
- Increases Herblore by 2 levels for a short period of time.
- Heals 1 hitpoint.
- Lowers Attack and Strength by 2 levels.
Note: Jagex has made an update so that Druidic Ritual must be completed for herblore xp.
