Green dragonhide armour

Green dragonhide armour is the best ranged armour available to non-members. All of the pieces require 40 Ranged to wear, and to wear the body a player must have 40 Defence and have completed the Dragon Slayer quest. All of the pieces (except the coif) can be made through the Crafting skill from green dragonleathers. You can get Green dragonhides from killing green dragons, and taking the hides to a tanner to turn it into Green dragonleather. Players who have not completed the Dragon Slayer quest commonly substitute the body with hardleather bodies, chainbodies or other pieces. For free players, this is a preferred armour for situations where magic and ranged or melee attacks are likely, as it has among the best available magic defence, and respectable melee defence.
The Green dragonhide coif is obtained by the Fist of Guthix minigame, and degrades during use. As it degrades its bonuses lessen and lessen until finally it has gone from 100 charges to 0. When this happens you can just recharge it using your Fist of Guthix tokens by giving them to Reggie (just use the coif on him). Also, when its charge reaches 0 you may sell it on the G.E. If you wish to sell it before then you must use it on Reggie and he will uncharge it for free.
