Grandpa Jack is a retired fisherman living in a house in Hemenster, just south-east of the McGrubor's Wood.
He plays a small, yet vital role in Fishing Contest, where he advises the player on how to beat the Sinister Stranger in order to win the Fishing trophy. He will also give the player information on the red vine worms during the quest.
Trivia[]
- According to Bonzo, Jack is the only resident in Hemenster who managed to hook a whitefish, after which it escaped, thus making the player the first one to do it during Land of the Goblins, even without great efforts.
- In Runescape Classic he was south of the Ardougne Zoo.
- In Runescape Classic he states he has won the Fishing Contest four times in a row, he once went fishing at Catherby and caught nothing but lots of boots and seaweed, but then suddenly found a Casket with a Diamond in it.
