Gorgonite ore is a Tier 9 ore that can only be obtained while Dungeoneering. It can either be bought from the Smuggler, received as a monster drop or mined from a Gorgonite rock. It requires level 80 Mining to mine.

Mining gorgonite grants 131.5 Mining experience for each ore mined. A player may receive between 1 and 5 ores from each gorgonite rock, or a maximum of 10 with a gatherer ring, after which it is depleted and no further ore can be mined. Gorgonite ores, like most resources in Dungeoneering used to carry weight, but after the Dungeoneering Improvements update they are now weightless and are carried in one inventory slot.

SmithingEdit

A player can smelt gorgonite ore into a gorgonite bar through the Smithing skill by using it on a furnace; this requires level 80 Smithing and grants 57.4 Smithing experience. Gorgonite bars can then be used on anvils with a hammer to create Gorgonite equipment.

SummoningEdit

Gorgonite ore is the secondary ingredient used to infuse an Adept bloodrager pouch, together with a Blue charm. This requires level 81 Summoning and grants 517.5 Summoning experience.
