A Godsword blade is the blade of the Godsword obtained only after players fuse shards 1, 2, and 3 together with a Smithing level of 80. The completed blade may then be attached to one of the four hilts obtained in the God Wars Dungeon.
Unlike making the Godsword blade, attaching and removing hilts has no Smithing level requirement. Changing a hilt only changes the Special attack of the Godsword - its bonuses remain the same, regardless of hilt. Note that the appearance does change slightly; the icon of the god on the pommel of the sword differs depending on the hilt.

- Before the Grand Exchange updates, players used to scam people with this, tricking them into thinking that this was the complete weapon. It would result in millions lost for unfortunate players.
- If this item is noted, the tip will actually come off the bank note.
- When used on a Banana it will create Sliced banana.
