Snail shells are dropped by giant snails during the Temple Trekking activity. They can be sold to Barlak in Dorgesh-Kaan for 600 coins. It's generally not worth to pick them up, as player should conserve inventory space for snake hides and/or talon beast charms. This type of snail shell cannot be used to create a snail helmet.

However, giant snails killed by your follower have a 100% chance to drop a perfect snail shell, as long as the player has at least done some damage to the snail to enable the drop. These shells can be traded to Barlak for the 600 coins with an additional 500 crafting experience.
