[edit] Giant chinchompa Pouch

A Giant chinchompa pouch is made by using a Summoning pouch on a Summoning obelisk with 84 spirit shards, a Blue charm and a Chinchompa in the player's inventory. Making the pouch earns 255.2 experience points. Using the pouch to summon a Giant chinchompa gains 2.5 Summoning experience points, and costs 1 Summoning point.[Monster type is Ranged.]

[edit] Explode scroll

An Explode scroll enables the use of the Explode special move for a Giant chinchompa. Using the pouch on a Summoning obelisk creates 10 scrolls and gives 2.9 Summoning experience.

[edit] Explode

Explode is the special move for the Giant chinchompa, which causes the Giant chinchompa to explode and damage nearby enemies like a regular chinchompa. It is activated with an Explode scroll, using 3 special move points and granting 2.9 Summoning experience.

Explode was normally used and sometimes is still used by summonning tankers, which, fighting low levels, used chinchompa Explode and killed everyone near if at multi area, very useful method, and incase it don´t work, he just summon another and use again, a certain strike, but, as i think they started giving ranged xp, summonning tankers stopped using them because, if they did, they would get ranged xp = ranged lvl, not being summonning tankers anymore.

On occasions, the Giant chinchompa will explode during combat without use of a scroll, damaging all targets nearby and disappearing permanently.

[edit] Dialogue

[edit] Trivia

  • "Half a pound of tuppenny rice..." (in the dialogue) is a reference to the British rhyme Pop Goes the Weasel
  • According to the dialogue, the player's inventory is visible to the outside world and apparently is a satchel on their back.
  • In theory, a player can get 99 summoning in one trip using only giant chinchompa pouches at level 35 at the Gu'tanoth obelisk. All the ingredients stack and, after creating the pouches, they can be immediately swapped with Bogrog to recover 70% of their shard content, reducing costs. This would require 50988 blue charms and as many chinchompas.
  • There was a glitch where the scroll could be activated continously without breaks, attacking any monsters or players quickly, much like a Dragon Claw special attack. The glitch has since been fixed.
