The Giant crypt spider is a larger version of the crypt spider and is found in the tunnels of the Barrows and the Chaos Tunnels.

In the Barrows, they are only found in the Central Eastern room along with the smaller Crypt Spiders and are sometimes the monster that is spawned when opening the door to the room. They have a greenish tint and can hit up to 360. They can be a slight danger if you are low on health or run energy. Like most Barrows monsters, they can be an annoyance if they appear in the room with your Puzzle Door. They are aggressive and they rarely drop anything if defeated. Poison does affect these, contrary to popular belief.
