Crafting and repairEdit

Fungal armour is made with the Crafting skill. Each is made by sewing a number of fungal flakes, which are obtained as drops from fungal rodents, fungal mages, and infested axes, to the corresponding pieces of mycelium web armour. The process requires a needle and thread, as well as different amounts of fungal flakes and different Crafting levels, as indicated on the table below. The Assist System may be used when creating or repairing fungal armour.

Piece Crafting Fungal flake 5 Flakes Cost of Flakes Grand Exchange Price
Fungal visor Fungal visor 3 15 Fungal flake 5300 1,800 3,908
Fungal poncho Fungal poncho 21 125 Fungal flake 52,500 15,000 14,988
Fungal leggings Fungal leggings 12 50 Fungal flake 51,000 6,000 7,958
Total: Fungal flake 53,800 22,800 26,854

Fungal armour degrades over 30,000 charges of combat (a minimum time of 5 hours) before it reverts to the corresponding piece of mycelium web armour. Partially degraded parts can be repaired using a fairly scaled amount of fungal flakes (e.g. a 10% degraded visor will need 30 flakes to repair), which also requires the relevant Crafting level, a needle, and some thread, and gives scaled Crafting experience.
