The fractite maul is a maul stronger than the Kratonite, Marmaros, Bathus, and Novite mauls, and is also the weapon with highest attack and strength bonus available to free players within Daemonheim. It is used in the Dungeoneering skill and as such cannot be taken out of Daemonheim. It requires 40 Strength to wield. Players can make a Fractite maul with the Smithing skill at level 48 using four Fractite bars, giving the player 200 Smithing experience. Alternative ways to obtain a fractite maul includes being a drop from brutes, forgotten warriors wielding mauls, Rammernaut, or being given in the starting room at the beginning of a new floor raid.

It is also worthwhile to note that the difference in strength bonus between the Fractite maul and the Kratonite maul is much larger than the strength bonus between any other F2P mauls within Daemonheim. This is similar to the pattern between Adamant and Rune weapons or armour outside of Daemonheim.
