Asked this in the chat and it was advised to me to create a (teeny weeny) proposal. Well, I think we should move Forum:Yew Grove (not all threads, just the YG itself) to RuneScape:Yew Grove (project namespace), as:

• It isn't a thread itself
• It's more of a project than an actual forum, like FIMG only you comment on proposals and not images
• It might stop people from thinking the YG is a forum and create nonsense/help/question/non-proposal threads (a recent example being Forum:What boots are these?)

Oppose - I really don't see the point. It's certainly not a thread, but Forum:Index redirects to it -- it's an index. It's still a forum even if it doesn't function like the one's people are used to, and I really don't see the "useless threads" thing as much of a problem. There's no good reason to do this. Oppose - People unfamiliar with wikis have no idea what a namespace even is half the time. Sure, they can put 1 and 1 together and figure out what might be suited to that page, but to say that changing the namespace from forum to project will go towards solving this 'issue' is a hard line of thought to follow. Oppose - You could consider this to be the RSOF's "Yew Grove", being their forum index, and that is also listed under "Forums". I think the Yew Grove index is too closely related to all forums to move out of the namespace. JOEYTJE50TALK  10:32, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

Oppose - Per Cook. All wikis on Wikia that have a forum namespace use Forum:Index, we use it to redirect to the Yew Grove, which is in itself a index of other forums. There is no benefit to changing the location and no need to do so. Ryan PM 12:30, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

Oppose - I don't think it's even necessary to do this, since either way a thread will be created in the forum namespace. Also, if a new user was creating creating a proposal and was on "RuneScape:Yew Grove" then suddenly they were on "Forum:Block Hairr", an initial reaction could be "wtf, how'd i get here to Forum:" (less likely to happen... the reaction, not the forum ;P ). Support - This is a really great idea. It follows the format of all other forums on ANY other website. It has always worked and it continues to work. This wiki's forum lacks the structure of what most forums have.BREN 02:20, July 10, 2012 (UTC)
