I think we have enough forum administrators now, and no longer need any more until our forums grow dramatically. Why? Too many forums admins will result in implementation arguments. And, All the rules are enforced already. There is rarely a vandal in the forums, so we don't need that many for that purpose. And, since Sysops have most of Forum admin tools anyhow, we have more then enough to keep our forums secure and monitored. As an example, I offer the "count to 10 before..." threads. So many admins visit the forums, that in all 100+ pages only once did they actually count to 10. That's how well the existing Admins are doing their jobs.

- Comment - What harm would more forum admins do??? As far as I can see they would only be a benefit, unless one vandalizes. And there are times where the forums are deserted by admins.

Comment - Unless I'm not mistaken, normal admins have most of the tools that forum admins have, except the ability to create polls and stickies. I hope that got my point across. :) Tien 22:47, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
- That is correct. I have done deleting/blocking and whatnot on the forums when no forum admins were on and I was the only active admin on the Wiki. From what I saw, we have almost all administrative tools there as well. Karlis (talk) (contribs)

Comment - Reminds me of how we also had one about admin population. We still agreed (As a consensus) that more the better. I don't see how having more forum admin would be any wrong.

Comment - Don't mean to be offensive, but is this thread created against me? Because I just requested for forum adminship and I had to cancel my nomination because I read this page. Oh well, I could always try again next year. --

Comment - When there was a yg discussion about limiting sysops everyone was up in arms with the "more the better" and "we are volunteers, we dont have jobs or requirements" arguments. Now we have stopped accepting nominations for clan chat admins, and forum admins, hypocrisy much?

- Tebuddy your judging the entire community based on what a couple people say. We are individuals and should not be judged based on what some one else is saying as you are doing. As for clan chat admins, people join for two days and ask for a rank because they think its a clan and it would make them special.And we have a limited number we can rank there. --Degenret01 02:07, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Oppose All Editors are Equal and limiting the number now is trying to create a seperate class of wikian, some thing that needs to be avoided in the extreme. No one is special, no one is better, and trying to mak it so is a bunch of BS. Stop it. Everyone shlud have a shot to become syop or forum admin if they want. Oppose - These should be judged on a case-by-case basis. If someone would make a good forumadmin, then they should not be limited by their peers (and if someone would not make a good forumadmin, then simply oppose their nomination). Have faith in people, not numbers.--
