I was wondering if there is a template that can be used to compare different items of a same type. Mostly you see a paragraph or two when people are discussing an item, but sometimes a simple thing may be more than enough. Check this page (Armadyl Battlestaff) for example. This is probably not perfect in every way, but I think a template might be a good idea, nonetheless. Support - I like the idea, but I'm wondering how easy it would be to maintain. Every item is a somewhat lengthy list. Then again if Tip.it can have their Equipment builder calc, why can't we have this? Cåm  10:42, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

I could make such calculator, but I'm a little busy with school stuff at the moment, so I'll start a huge thing like that after I'm done with the big things I still have to do for school. That is of course when nobody else takes this challenge to learn some more scripting stuff (trust me, if you wanna learn JS, making stuff this is one of the best ways :P) JOEYTJE50TALK  10:56, May 24, 2012 (UTC)

How hard is this calc to make? Most of it is going to be repetitive adding of items and their stats so I assume once the comparison code is written it should be relatively straight forward? Cåm  11:16, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

Be bold - This doesn't need a thread. If you want to make a table or paragraph comparing items, by all means, go ahead. I was bold when I created that template you linked to on Armadyl battlestaff (though I wasn't the original creator of the table). There's also no practical need for a template for a template (since it's meant to be a comparison, we'll assume it should appear on all pages of items being compared, as is the case with the template on Armadyl battlestaff).
