Flowers Detail
Flowers are harvested after planting mithril seeds, which are obtained after completing the Waterfall Quest and can also be bought in the Legends' Guild at a price of 300gp each which slowly increases. Flowers grow in many assorted colours with black and white being the rarest. When planting the mithril seeds, players have an option to either pick the flowers to obtain the item, or to let them grow. Flowers that are left to grow will stay on the ground temporarily, for around 5 minutes.
  • Red, blue, yellow, orange, purple and multicoloured flowers are used in Summoning as a tertiary ingredient for infusing Praying mantis pouches.
  • Yellow and blue flowers are needed for certain clue scrolls.

A bunch of flowers with the primary colour combinations (red, yellow, blue) can be bought from the Flower Girl on Miscellania for 15 coins each. Players can also possibly receive 9 red flowers from selecting the "Gamble" option when choosing rewards from the Soul Wars activity, worth about 5,500 coins.

Trollweiss
Trollweiss are flowers obtained during Troll Romance and is a light blue colour. These are not tradeable however. The Trollweiss gives the same bonuses as the other flowers and may be wielded as well.

Flowers can be wielded in the Weapon Slot, and are classified as a fun weapon in the Duel Arena because it gives the wielding player no bonuses.

In the past red flowers were the third most expensive flower because they were the only flowers that could be used to make the praying mantis familiar. As of March 3 2010, all types of flowers (excluding black and white) can be used as a tertiary ingredient for the praying mantis familiar, so picking all flowers is a good idea for players wishing to train Summoning.

Flower OddsEdit

The following is a table listing the odds that an individual colour will result. The sample used was of 25,257.

WARNING: Due to a recent update, planted flowers will no longer have any colours, and will be set to the default of white. This means the table below is irrelevant, although historical information. This update was implemented in order to remove the common issue of flower gambling, which was the process of betting on which colour the gambling host would receive when planting the flower. However, picking the planted flower will still yield any of the colours below in the player's inventory.

Flower Colour Plants Percentage
Red 3491 13.82%
Orange 3487 13.81%
Yellow 4036 15.98%
Blue 3898 15.43%

Pastel 2565 10.16%
Rainbow 3871 15.33%
White 29 0.11%
Black 50 0.20%
Total 25257 100.00%
