Backhand, Impact and Binding Shot no longer stun and deal 40% more damage per rank to targets that are not facing you. Forceful Backhand, Deep Impact and Tight Bindings no longer stun and deal 15% more damage per rank to targets that are not facing you.

Flanking is an Invention perk. When used, it causes particular abilities to lose their stun ability, while dealing increased damage to a target which is not facing the player. It can be created in weapon gizmos.

The ability will still have its stun and bind effect if the target is facing the player. The damage boost from Flanking will only be applied if the player is attacking from behind or the side of the target's facing direction.

Even when activating Flanking's effect, the abilities will still trigger Yakamaru's stunning mechanics when it's at the north-eastern pool.
