Fish food is an item used in the Ernest the Chicken quest. Fish food is also required to feed fish that members can obtain as pets.
[edit] Free-to-Play Uses
The only place for Free-to-play players to find fish food is in Draynor Manor. The fish food is found on the first floor of the manor (second for American players) and in a room with level 19 Ghosts. Fish food can be used with Poison that can be found in the kitchen of Draynor Manor. This makes it poisoned fish food.
Players, with the fish food, are then able to kill aggressive piranhas in the fountain in the south west grounds of Draynor Manor by using the Poisoned fish food on the Fountain. Once done, the fish food will disappear from the player's inventory, but the player then can retrieve the Pressure gauge.
Members can create fish food by using ground guam and ground seaweed on an empty box, though as with the creation of many items (This goes for members and non members), it provides no Cooking nor Herblore experience, which has been found annoying to many players.
