A Fire battlestaff is a medium power fire elemental staff. It requires 30 Attack and Magic to wield and provides an unlimited amount of fire runes. Fire battlestaves can be created through the Crafting skill at level 62 by using a fire orb with a battlestaff, granting 125 Crafting experience. It is also dropped by monsters such as the fire giant and is a Treasure trail reward. It can be upgraded to a mystic fire staff by Thormac for 40 000 coins after completing the Scorpion Catcher quest or for 27 000 coins while wearing a Seers' headband 3. Visually the fire battlestaff is identical to the staff of fire and the mystic fire staff.
