Fire Wave is a members only spell that requires 75 Magic and can do a maximum of 20 damage per spell. It's maximum damage can be further increased to 22 if using with a special staff (i.e Ancients). In addition to this, if used with extreme magic potion, its theoretical max is 30...making it incredibly powerful. It is the most powerful of the Elemental spells, only beaten by the three elemental god spells: Saradomin strike, Claws of Guthix and Flames of Zamorak when using the spell Charge, but it is beaten by a majority of Ancient Magicks spells and many others.

Most enemies related to water and ice (except Waterfiends) are vulnerable to Fire Wave.

This spell is also used by players with 92 Smithing and all three parts of a broken dragon platebody to reignite the forge in the Ancient Cavern.

Fire Wave costs 529 coins for each cast, but if the player is using a Staff of fire, it costs 487 coins. If using a Staff of air, it costs 469 coins.

Remember, you cannot use Ancient Magicks or Lunar Spells if you are using regular Magic.
