A basket of tomatoes is a basket containing anywhere between one and five tomatoes. This is a good item for those making pizzas who wish to carry many tomatoes at once to save inventory space. Each tomato eaten heals 200 life points, meaning that a full basket of tomatoes can heal 1000 life points, or with expensive spices 1250.
A basket of five tomatoes, Tomatoes (5), is also used as payment to a farmer to watch over an oak tree, Cadavaberry bush, or Yanillian hops for the player. Tomatoes can be grown through the Farming skill at level 12 and are planted by using 3 tomato seeds on an allotment patch.
