Tchiki monkey nuts are used in, and only available during, the Freeing King Awowogei subquest of Recipe for Disaster. They are picked from a tchiki nut bush on the Ape Atoll agility course.
They are different from regular monkey nuts. They can be ground with a pestle and mortar to create tchiki nut paste.
They are considered a delicacy amongst monkeys, and many legends surround them. One such legend suggests that they are the thing that gave monkeys their superior intelligence, another suggests that they are the food of choice of the Monkey Gods.

- When pronounced, Tchiki sounds like cheeky, so these could be pronounced as 'cheeky monkey nuts'. This analogy is further supported by the Examine text, which could also be pronounced as "Like monkey nuts only cheekier".
- When eaten, the game's text reads, "You eat the Tchiki monkey nuts. They taste nutty."
